Fleet SafetyInstructor - Stacey Hemming Learn how to minimize commercial trucking crashes, fatalities, and injuries on Montana highways by utilizing the federal Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) program. CSA tracks all carriers and issues a monthly report documenting seven basic categories including unsafe driving. All carriers and all drivers are impacted by this monthly scoring, allowing carriers to be contacted earlier in order to address safety problems before crashes occur. CSA measures safety performance, using inspection and crash results to identify carriers whose behaviors could reasonably lead to crashes. The program collects and analyzes data so enforcement officials and carrier safety personnel can intervene to improve safety on our roads.
